Snapped a few pictures of my son the other night as he was drawing by flash light not yet ready to fall asleep.   I can see that art is definitely meditative for him, the way it is for me.   Did 2 sketches from those photos today, the first one in 37 minutes (an exercise I learned about in Robert Genn's recent newsletter) and this was the second one.  An interesting challenges as I continue to pursue my goal of simplifying and abstracting....it's a process.

    Awesome! I love it!!! I want to see the 37 minute one:) I read that newsletter, too, and am thinking about setting similar time limits.
